Offering for Yemanja 10 mins.  On the beaches of Brazil, women and men give offerings to honor and appease the beautiful deity of the sea, Yemanja (pronounced Yeh men JA). This short film will use live footage, slow-motion, super-impositions, freeze-frames, poetry, and original ballads to interweave the rituals done for her (composed of singing, dancing, offerings to the sea, and spirit possession) with paintings, sculptures, murals and other art forms created in her honor.
